It is a huge country and I have only seen pieces of it. So I will continue on with where I have been and what we did when we were there! Photos really do help jog the memories!
We went to a place called Kuranda, a village in a rainforest near Cairns (link is on the link page)We got there by train, a very scenic ride!We did some walks around the forest (great photo ops-I started liking wildlife photography then and there) and gandered at the stalls (there are some nice stalls where you can get lovely prints of native animals; the platypus and the kangaroo. I being a young teenager, found 'Fanny O'Reilly's Irish bar and grill' hilarious-there isn't a corner of the world we haven't invaded and plonked an Irish bar down as evidence!

The Taronga zoo in Sydney is a must see for those animal lovers..I personally couldn't wait to see the koalas and I was not disappointed! They were adorable! We got there by cable car, getting great views on the way!The Australians really have transport down to a tee, the journeys to places in Oz are often more exciting than the destination!
In Sydney harbour there is plenty to do, we chose to take a trip on a sailing boat, where they may ask you to partake in crew duties. My dad loved this, he loves anything to do with water!you go under the harbour bridge and see the city from the outside.
